The famous Golden Gate Bridge provides a spectacular entrance to the city that somersaults over more than 40 hills – you’ve seen them in the movies! As the focal point of the 24 miles of coastline between the Golden Gate and the downtown area, Fisherman’s Wharf is known for its historic waterfront, interesting sites, dining and shopping. Union Square is the central shopping, hotel and theatre district of San Francisco.
